    Not that strong, poor stamina, doesn’t pay much attention to her wounds and appearance (cancels out her beauty), can’t use her vast mana pool and subconsciously only uses the life force reserved to keep her vitals running.

      Corvun is a demon in the guise of a raven. Nita has made a contract with the demon to let him have her soul after she dies, in exchange for using his powers. But she can’t access his powers without tapping into her own mana pool in order to channel his powers. So she mostly uses him as an avian ally. She can see through his eyes, and communicate with him telepathically.

• Backstory---------------------

  Nita is an orphaned girl, taken in by a witch when she was just a child. The witch was the one that had raided her home and killed… and eaten her parents. But she couldn’t bring herself to harm little Nita. Nita has blocked out these memories, as she’d been traumatized by the experience and currently remembers none of it. Only that the witch had adopted her from some people who didn’t want her.
  
  She’d grown up being a servant to this witch, but when she started showing interest in the arts of witchcraft, the witch that had taken her in, Gilderuth, decided to share her knowledge with Nita. Nita however could only tap into her own life force in order to cast spells. At first, Gileruth thought Nita had a small pool of mana to draw from, but after a closer inspection, it was revealed that Nita had an inhumanly large mana pool, but for some reason, her mind always chooses to draw from her life force than her mana pool.
  
  Gilderuth has often heard stories from her teachers and other witches about “the scourge”, but it has always been a myth. She’s told Nita of this as well, telling her it was the ultimate source of power and anyone who has enough mana to handle it, would become all powerful. Gilderuth believed that Nita could actually take the scourge within herself and become an all-powerful witch. But she wanted the power for herself.
  
  During her time serving and learning under Gilderuth, Nita had shared meals with the witch. And these meals consisted mostly of human flesh. The witch prepares all the meals to use the essence of those she kills to add to her mana pool. Nita saw this as a normal act. These humans were either those who came to kill Gilderuth into her woods, or humans the witch had dragged from their homes. Nita was the one that usually prepared the bodies to be cooked. So she was in charge of taking out the organs and flaying the dead bodies.
  
  Glideruth was a terrifying, and cruel witch. She often took Nita as a means of relieving her stress, giving her inhumane punishments for the slightest mistake. When she would cut bread, she’d have to do it perfectly. The slightest irregularity meant that the witch would crush Nita’s fingers with a hammer, or bend them back till they broke, or had Nita pull out her own fingernails. If she made a mistake when skinning a dead body, her own fingers would be flayed from fingertip to knuckle, and forced to finish her duties. The witch would of course revert Nita’s fingers back to their original state after she had her fill of seeing Nita’s pain.
  
  She also used this as an opportunity to extract Nita’s tears, which contained concentrated amounts of her inhumanly large mana pool. Nita didn’t know this was the reason. But then again, she has felt tired after crying. But she’d just thought of it as normal.
  
  One day, a knight in silver armor had come to the forest, seemingly wounded from a battle, perhaps fleeing from his enemies. Gilderuth had fallen in love with the man at first sight. She’d made sure no one was following him, and nursed him back to health, with the help of Nita. During this time, Gilderuth started being nicer to Nita, since she herself was happier.
  
  But then, one night, the knight stabs Gilderuth with a blessed silver dagger, which causes the witch to start dying slowly. He’d escaped, leaving Nita to tend to the dying witch.
  
  Gilderuth, in her dying days, begged Nita for forgiveness for how she’d treated her, and Nita forgave her. She even told her that it was she herself that killed, and ate her parents. This.. However... Nita never forgave the witch for.
  
  After the death of Gilderuth, Nita is plagued with sadness, overwhelming loneliness and a need to get back at the man who'd killed the only person in her life. She wanted to seek out the knight that had killed Gilderuth, but she was not strong enough to fight anyone. Nita, consumed with desperation, sells her soul to a demon named Corvun, in exchange for strength and magic, but sadly, Nita's small mana pool doesn't allow her to use the gifts she'd gotten from the deal. But Corvun now accompanies Nita, in the form of a raven, both for his entertainment, and to keep an eye on his eventual prize.
  
  Nita tracks down the knight, Sir Jonathon Dunhell. After a gruesome battle, Nita manages to kill Sir Jonathon, with herself being severely wounded. Now, with vengeance sated, Nita feels a sense of harrowing emptiness. She has her life back for herself, but her soul belongs to a demon.
  
  Nita leaves on her own journey, with no real goals or ambitions. There was nothing in this world for her, but the promise of the eventual end, where Corvun would claim her soul and feast on it for eternity. This thought leaves Nita drained, and devoid of any eagerness to live or enjoy life.
